FIONA DIARY ENTRY 4

Sonia brought me broth and lamented over me in Spanish. “Pobrecita,” she said again and again.

My body was covered in cuts and bruises and I hadn’t eaten much at all in three weeks. I wonder if he would have force fed me before I died of starvation? If I hadn't given in.

Sonia told me to slow down as I inhaled the delicious soup. She had tears in her eyes when she left and took the bowl away.

After I ate, Xavier poured me a bath. I expected him to leave, but he took off his clothes and climbed in with me. I was too tired and broken to even care. He said he was impressed at how long I resisted him. He said I was worth the fight.

His hands and lips were gentle. I remember him holding me as I cried, completely broken. He pulled me against his chest and his fingers moved between my thighs. I let him bring me to orgasm in the tub. I was tired of suffering. I just closed my eyes and let him make me feel good.

He toweled me off and told me when I felt better he would feed me steak and wine. He would take me on dates and show the world the queen by his side.

I let him rape me that night. I didn’t fight, and he was gentle. He liked me to lie still with him on top, so I closed my eyes and drifted away as he grunted over me. I found I could go somewhere else. He didn’t care what I felt. When he was done, he tucked me into a bed with the softest sheets I ever felt. I had been sleeping on a cold floor for almost three weeks. Fighting didn’t win me anything. It just hurt.

He kissed me and said, “Corazón. I’m going to teach you everything.”
