Chapter Eight
Oh my God, Iâm really kissing him.
There were so many thoughts rifling through her mind. Her admission. His. It was all too much to focus on, especially when she was kissing him. This was six months in the making. Sheâd thought of it, fantasized about it, and here she was, finally, kissing Hades Monroe. And he was kissing her back.
His hand tightened around her jaw as his lips parted and his tongue slipped into her mouth. Her heart raced and a small shiver engulfed her body. The reality was even better than her imagination, but not nearly enough.
More, I want more.
She leaned closer, untangling her hand from his and caressing his thigh over his jeans. She waited so long to be this close, to touch him, she couldnât control her need. Her skin prickled under his rough palm grasping her neck. She tangled her tongue against his, tasting a mixture of beer and smoke. The combination should have had her stomach turning, but instead she deepened this kiss. Vada pushed closer, sending him further back into the couch cushion and pressing her whole body against his. The angle on the couch left a small gap and shifted her to his side. Her hand slid up his chest, tracing the outline of his muscles.
A rumbling growl vibrated under her palm. Hades raked his fingers down her throat with his small nails biting into her skin. Rough. His lips glided over hers, his tongue gently caressing her bottom lip and dipping inside her mouth again. Sweet and sensual.
âHades.â She panted, feeling her entire body heat.
She needed more.
She was driven by pure lust, which explained her next move. Vada used his thigh to balance herself and lifted up without breaking away from his mouth and crawled over his chest. Once she lay flat against him, she swung her leg over his lap, straddling him. Her hand drifted over his chest. Sheâd seen Hades without a shirt. His body was incredibly muscular. Seeing it was amazing, but actually touching him? She reached for the hem of his t-shirt and lifted it. She only got as far as his abs. It was enough. She skimmed over his tight, warm stomach. God, heâs perfect.
His arms wrapped around her waist, tightening his hold and maneuvering her directly over his length. Through the thin fabric of her dress she could feel his cock rubbing against her. This feels too good. And not good enough. She needed more, and was going to take it. Without an ounce of shame, she swiveled her hips and softly moaned into his mouth. His tongue speared out, licking her bottom lip before grazing his teeth over the pouty flesh.
âHades.â She moaned. âIâm so wet.â The admission should have had her blushing and running for cover. It didnât. The rational and coherent side of her brain had apparently shut down or was currently blocked by the naughty, desperate thoughts with only one goal in mind. Him.
His chest rumbled against her hands and a deep growl emitted past his lips.
