What a quandary. And so, in the light of the day, and the flicker of the candlelight in the evening, she ignored those thoughts, and focused on her usual everyday tasks. And tonight, she dressed with care, and asked Millie to curl and pin her hair, and pretended that none of it was because of what had happened between her and Hugh.
