My eyes shot open at the sound of Layton shouting and moving around in the bed.

“Lay down, Layton,” I groaned.

I suspected this would happen when she woke up in a bed that wasn’t hers this morning.

“No! What have we done, King? Where are my clothes?”

Turning over, I saw her sitting straight up with my white sheets covering her breasts. Her face had lines on it from sleeping hard, she had some crust in the corner of both eyes and her lips were dry but she was still beautiful even at her worst.

“Your shirt is someone in my room but your bottoms are in the living room. How are you feeling?” I asked her, sitting up and stretching. A few of my bones popped.

“I am so late for work.”

“I texted Miracle and let her know you’re taking the rest of the week off,” I yawned.

“And I told you that if I get word of it, they’ll be searching on Indeed for another job. One thing you have to stop doing, baby, is worrying what other people think,” I told her, easing out of the bed. My thighs were stinging from putting in work last night.

“You keep calling me baby… why?”

“Ah Layton… You’re definitely my lil’ baby after last night,” I grinned boyishly, winking at her as I took off towards the en suite bathroom.
