David Bohm: Is it your view that that can be done?
Krishnamurti: I am asking that following the question: why should truth operate in the field of reality?
Dr Parchure: Do you get awareness as a product of thought?
Krishnamurti: No, thought says, ‘I have created this awful mess and I can’t do anything about it.’ Therefore thought abstains from the movement to which it is accustomed, and says, ‘I see this, I won’t operate in that way, I will abstain, I will hold, I will be intelligent.’
Can that take place?
