Since fucking that bitch Chardonnay the guilt had been unreal. I sat at the breakfast bar in the kitchen drinking a beer and staring at the $170,000 engagement ring I had purchased Mesha. Before all this happened, I was going to book a holiday with the whole family and propose to her at a lavish dinner. I had it all planned out in my head. It was going to be perfect. I couldn’t wait any longer. I texted everyone telling them all that I wanted to meet at our house for breakfast in the morning at ten a.m.

I hired catering staff and a marquee which were being delivered and set up at 6 a.m. I had flowers being delivered at 7 a.m. I had got the kids all matching purple outfits and had Shai drop Ty’ricaa off earlier to spend the weekend with us. Everything was as perfect as it could be with half the family missing from the celebrations. Now I just had to get her to say yes. I was as excited as a kid at Christmas. I really hope she didn’t turn my ass down.

I went upstairs to shower. Mesha and Ty’Eesha had been over with Tianna all evening. Neither of them had come back yet. The boys were all asleep, so was Karlee and Ricaa. It was nice and peaceful. Don’t get me wrong, I love them all but I couldn’t get a second of quiet some days. After my shower, I went and got a pre-rolled blunt and a glass of Henny with some ice from the bar in our room. I took my drink and went out onto the balcony which led off our room. As I sat at the table glancing down over the gardens I felt strangely peaceful. I hadn’t felt like this in months, not since the explosion. I sat and smoked the entire blunt. Just as I finished I turned around and Mesha was standing there looking at me.

“Hey baby. Did you ladies enjoy your evening?”

“We sure did. It was nice to do something different. We ordered Chinese food and watched trash TV all night while lying in that huge ass bed they got over there. Tianna is getting bigger by the day. She went to have the scan this morning but she decided against finding out today. We are going to have a gender reveal party on Sunday. I have invited the girls from the salon and some of her friends from school. I hired an event planner and she is the only one who knows. There will be some big reveal during the party. I’ve seen videos online and they do the funniest things these days. Wasn’t nothing like that when we was having kids. The doctor also said she is doing much better and the baby is stronger so she can move around a little more but she is still to take it easy. She was happy as hell to be told that but we still stayed up in that big ole bed all night.
