Chapter Ten
Triniâs hands shook as she led him down the hall into the bedroom. Her mind was still spinning over what heâd just said. It seemed like the most unlikely thing to come out of his mouth. She had a suspicion Roan knew it was what she desperately needed to hear.
This man.
The door closed behind them, and she glanced over. âSo, this is it,â she whispered, an overwhelming nervousness washing over her. They had been together earlier, but it was different now. He knew more about her and her life, past and present. It was personal. He wasnât some hot random man she was going to have sex with. This was Roan.
He stalked to her, grasped her waist, and pulled her flat against his chest. If Trini had been concerned about making the next move, Roan had it covered. He gripped the hem of her shirt and lifted it over her head, exposing her black lace bra. It had been a gift to herself last month when the boutique started carrying them.
Roan didnât waste any time, kissing her neck and slipping his fingers to her buckle. He ripped down her shorts and panties, which dropped to the floor, pooling at her feet. Trini was left in just her bra.
His fingers dug into her waist, lifting her off the ground and setting her on the bed. She scooted back making room for him. Roan fisted his T-shirt and pulled it over his head, exposing his tattooed, muscular chest. Ohhh. Any vision sheâd had from her brief view at the clubhouse was no comparison to what was standing in front of her. He pressed his knee on the mattress and hovered over her. He leaned in, kissing her with so much passion she was at a complete loss. She gasped and circled her arms over his back, tugging him closer. If he gave her all his weight, heâd crush her.
His beard tickled her neck, and his mouth caressed her throat and down to her chest. It was a tease, and her toes curled at the anticipation. She expected a prelude to him removing her bra. She was wrong. His hand curled into her cup and ripped it down. The cool air peaked her nipple seconds before she felt the warmth of his mouth on the tight bead.
She wasnât sure what she had expected from Roan. Soft, sweet, and slow hadnât been his MO earlier. He gripped her hips and flipped their positions, leaving Trini on top, straddling his hips.
Trini brushed a soft kiss against his lips, whispering, âYou have too many clothes on.â
She didnât wait for a response. Trini scooted down his legs, widening her own as she made her move. She grasped the buckle of his pants and hooked her fingers over the waist, pulling them down to his ankles. She flattened her lips, keeping her smile at bay with her next thought. Jackpot. Roan was big in all areas, it seemed. Trini bowed her head, keeping her blush concealed, and yanked off his pants, tossing them off the side of the bed.
