Around 30 people rolled into the conference room and it was clear to me that this was not going to be any normal demonstration. I knew this was going to hurt but there was nothing I could do about it but smile and do my best.

On an average day, the sales slide deck takes less than 10 minutes to present. Neither too long or too short, it is typically just enough to set up the audience for what they are going to see and hear next. We were 30 minutes into the meeting and the RSM was still on the slides, taking and asking questions.
