CHAPTER FIVE

Dix eased out from under the possessive arm thrown over his chest. Kristof wasn’t a snuggler, so it was unusual to have him pressed so tightly against Dix as they slept. But Dix wasn’t complaining. No way. Even though he hadn’t been joking last night when he said his ass felt tender after Kristof’s drilling. And even after his natural Alpha nature to Dominate had to be consciously suppressed. Dix wasn’t used to letting someone else sit in the driver’s seat.

But one of the hallmarks of being a Rogue Alpha meant operating without hierarchy. Rogue Alphas weren’t tied to Packs or geographic areas like Pure Alphas were. And now, Dix guessed that he also was able to tolerate a certain amount of fluidity when it came to Dominance because he’d enjoyed the hell out of Two-Feather’s Claiming Mount, once he’d curbed his initial instinctive resistance.

Two-Feather didn’t even stir when Dix slipped out from under his arm. Dix recognized the signs of being completely zonked out mind, body and soul. Claiming did that to a dude.

Dix fought the urge to return to bed and give Kristof the close contact his body would crave in the aftermath of really great Claiming sex. But the extraction op briefing was at zero six hundred and he was already running late.

After another long look at Kristof’s sleeping figure, eyes lingering on his Mate’s chiseled features and sculpted body, Dix headed in for a quick shower. Tonight he intended to return the favor on Two-Feather’s delectable booty.
