STEP 7. CHECKING DONNA’S MAIN POINTS AND YOUR TRIGGER POINTS
Now you’re going to recheck the statements from Steps 2 and 3 to make sure you are switched-on for all of the Statements. If you are doing Muscle Checking with a Partner read the statements out loud, or do Self Muscle Checking, or Noticing. 1. “I am willing to have the people in my network support
me in easily reaching my goals.”
2. “I consistently and confidently make requests for support
in accomplishing my goals in all areas of my life.” 3. “I maintain my confidence and carry on with my
networking no matter how people respond to me.” 4. “When I make requests of others, I do so in a way that
empowers, inspires, and acknowledges them.” 5. “I feel confident developing a network of people that I
can call on and count on.”
6. “I use my networking skills for both philanthropic and
business purposes.”
7. “I am comfortable calling on my network as a resource
for causes and goals that are meaningful to me.”
Repeat the Actions that you did in Step 4, doing each of them for at least twenty seconds. This time when you do the action, you will find that you are switched-on for it. It will be easier to do and you will be able to do it with less stress.
STEP 8. WHERE ARE YOU NOW?
Now that you’ve completed the Balance for Fulfilling Your Goals with Networking, it’s time to reassess your level of improvement or change from your responses to the questionnaire on page 96. You’ll find the statements that relates to this particular Balance below.
Place a check mark in the column that most clearly reflects your level of agreement or disagreement with the statement below. Then compare your initial response to your current response. Additionally, I urge you to mark your calendar and re-check your response a month from now to assess your continued improvement. Many people find that their improvement level has even increased even more a month later.
Strongly Disagree Doesn’t Agree Strongly Disagree Apply Agree 1. I accomplish my networking goals easily and effectively.
2. I feel confident and strong in making clear requests that support my personal and professional goals.
STEP 9. IT’S TIME TO CELEBRATE
If you’re Self Muscle Checking or Noticing, congratulate yourself. If you’re working with a partner, celebrate the successful completion of the Balance for Fulfilling Your Goals with Networking and switching yourself on.
Enjoy your new state and your success in applying Donna’s information on fulfilling your goals with networking.
STEP 10. REINFORCING THE BALANCE WITH HOME PLAY Each time you finish reading and doing the Balances for the day, there’s one more step before you end your Switched-On Networking session. Home play gives you the opportunity to reinforce and enhance the re-wiring and rebalancing in the brain if your mind-body feels it would be beneficial to do so.
