Chapter Fourteen

I could tell Blake and Jax were angry with me. We could read each other well and they knew I'd had sex with Riley. If they weren't sure before, it was really obvious when she made a noise getting off the stool.

Things were awkward between the four of us as we climbed into Jax's SUV and headed to the mall. I'd probably be just as angry if one of them had slept with her. Somehow, we'd all managed falling for the same girl. A girl we had not too long ago drugged and taken to our underwater facility after tormenting her for weeks.

My parents would be ashamed of me.

I looked over at Riley, who was typing up a storm on her phone. She had been non-stop texting for the past ten minutes. She was probably telling Ivy all about it. I was tempted to take her phone and read what she was texting.

My phone buzzed with a text from her.

Vixen: I can still feel you between my legs.

Me: Is that a good thing?

Vixen: Depends. Are we going to do it again?

I laughed, and Jax shot me a glare in the rearview mirror. Screw him. He could be mad all he wanted. She probably would have had sex with him if he hadn't been such a moody bastard.

Me: Do you think they'd kill me if I took you right here in the backseat? I don't mind if they watch.

Vixen: ... Ivy's going to meet us at the mall since she's now coming to homecoming too.

Fantastic. The cockblocker with flaming red hair was going to ruin all the fun. It's not that I had anything against Ivy, but she was tough as nails and wasn't scared to speak her mind. I had a few classes with her, and she'd already made it clear she hated my guts.

"You know, the last time we were in this SUV together, you three were kidnapping me." She huffed and then laughed. "Well, not this car specifically. That one went for a little swim."

"You've forgiven me, right?" I reached over and took her hand. "Because if what happened a few hours ago is any indication..."

She yanked her hand away and crossed her arms, looking to the front where Jax and Blake were scowling. Sometimes my mouth got away from me a bit.

"Are you going to go around telling everyone now?" It was hard to tell if she was amused or pissed because her mouth turned up in a slight smile.

Jax rubbed a hand over his face before tightening his hands on the steering wheel. "I'll kill him if he does."

Blake put his cheek on his fist and stared out the side window. "Does this mean you two are now a thing?"

"Yes." I was going to homecoming with her, after all.

She sucked in a breath. "No."

"What do you mean no? We're going to homecoming together. You even said you didn't want it to be just a one-time thing." I turned toward her and put my leg up on the seat.
