The bastards thought they could hide from him? No, not hide. They thought they could invite everyone but him to their party! Well, heâd show them! Heâd show up and theyâd have to let him participate in whatever they were planning! He knotted his tie and buttoned his vest. Heâd paid a pretty penny for this outfit. But he needed to impress. The people around here were stupid! They loved the finery and baubles that came with wealth. So heâd give them the show they were expecting.
What they didnât know was that he had bigger, better plans than to hang out in this damn village for the rest of his life! No way! He had big plans! Better plans!
And it all started with getting rid of that bitch. As soon as Fiona Reid was out of the picture, heâd have complete freedom. His future would be secure!
He chuckled, smoothing a hand over the fine wool of his jacket. Fiona looked down on him. Little did she know that he would be looking down on her. In a most literal sense! Very soon! He had a new plan. Cutting the brake lines had been too easy. There had been too many ways in which he could have been caught.
No, his next plan would be better. Safer and more effective.
