“Shut the door.”

Agent Umber checked his mobile AAA Coordinate Decoder®.

“I’m on it, Chief,” said Umber.

“Umber, did you make contact at D-7 this morning? We lost you.”

“Definite contact, Chief.”

“Did you use your head this time, Umber?”

“Definitely, Chief.”

“Well, go check the new AEW spike at B-5. I do not want Washington to hear anything about this.”

Umber juggled his decoder and map. He located B-5.

“Oh, raspberries,” said Umber. “First I have to get my van out of the pound.”

“What was that, Umber?”

“I, uh, have to see a man about a hound.”

And at just that moment a black dog with a white ear trotted over. He raised one leg. He squirted on Umber’s left sock.

“Oh, Pop-Tarts!” yelled Umber.

The dog gave Umber a funny look . . . then walked away.

“What is going on there, Umber?”
