This morning I woke up to Cakes and E2 serving me breakfast in bed. I was shocked to see Bellamy up so early; I spent the majority of last night trying to make up for being away for the past week. I know for a fact that we didn’t go to sleep until well after four o’clock this morning. After having breakfast, she let me know she had some running around to do before we went out tonight, so I decided to keep the baby at home with me, so she wouldn’t have to worry about being distracted.

The moment she walked out of the door, I was putting him under the cover next to me, so the two of us could take a much-needed nap. The nap was more for me than it was for him. If it wasn’t for Donna calling to wish me a Happy Father’s Day, I would still be asleep.

After getting off the phone with her, I wiped E2 off and got him dressed for the day. I turned the tv on and gave him a few things to keep him occupied while I dressed myself. I had to keep stopping and checking on him because he was very inquisitive. You couldn’t take your eyes off him for two seconds because his little ass would be into something. Those terrible twos were something else.

“E2. Let’s see what we can get into while your mom is in the streets.” I said, grabbing him up from the bed. Holding his hand, I helped him down the steps, so I could go pack his diaper bag. Before it got too late, I needed to roll up on Belair, so I could give him the gift we got him.

Shortly after making sure I had everything I needed for E2, I called to confirm that his grandfather was home and the two of us were out the door and on the road.
