After work, Kayla’s in her car just sitting there. She didn't want to go home and was sure Tyrone was done with her.

Kayla finally turned the key and the car didn’t start. A few more times and it still wouldn’t. "Just great," she said, leaning back.

She reached for her phone and called Ebony.

"Sorry that I can't make it to the phone right now but if you leave a message—“

"Ugh!" She dialed again and got the same message.

“She tried calling Terrance and Maurice but they didn’t pick up, so she had no choice but to call Tyrone.

"What?"

"Hello?"

"Yes, what is it?”

"Tyrone, my car won't start. Could you pick me up?"

Tyrone sighs. ”Get DeAndre to pick you up.”

"He's out of town for work.” Kayla lied.

“Hmm, you couldn’t reach Ebony?”

“Tyrone, come pick me up and stop playin’”

“Where you at?”

“Across the street from the Greyhound. Hurry, there’s a lot of bums around here.”

“I’ll be there in thirty minutes.”
