We want art to grow in this country, and educate the next generations. My aspiration and hope are that Chana Orloff will stay with us, in this country. Even though she has presented her work around the world’s capitals, such as London, Paris, New York and more, I am confident she will especially remember this exhibition in Tel Aviv. . . . France awarded her the ribbon of its order of chivalry: the Legion d’Honneur. We do not have a ribbon, we have appreciation. I take the honor of appointing her our honorary knight.59
