Elliot and I agreed to meet at Nightstand at eleven, but my thirsty ass showed up thirty minutes beforehand. Having her wait on me wasnât an option and giving her time to be alone with her thoughts was risky.
Inviting the professor out for the night wasnât my intention when I called her. I worked most of the day and wanted to return her call before she went to bed. Her bashful giggles and gentle voice made seeing her tonight my only birthday wish.
Since the weather was breezy, I kept things simple on the clothes tip. A black turtleneck, tailored burgundy dress pants, and Ferragamo on my feet was an easy pick. I knew Iâd be out of the maroon-colored peacoat I had on once we were inside, but for now, it matched my vibe.
Checking my watch, I saw it was eleven on the dot. When I looked up to observe my surroundings, I spotted her coming down the street.
Once my eyes embraced Elliot, I couldnât look away. She wore a black dress that contained sheer sleeves, showed off her big breasts and fit her curvy frame seamlessly. Elliot had an hourglass figure that had a few extra minutes on it. Still, I was counting down the seconds she would see her situationship for the waste of time it was.
When she was close enough to hear me, I said, âI donât know why youâre holding that purse over your midsection. Every part of your body is filling out that dress just the way it should.â
Elliotâs dimples appeared when she started twirling her finger in curls that ran past her shoulders. âThank you⦠and thanks for the invite. Not going to lie, I almost thought I got the address wrong.â
âI get it. The place is something the average person would look over. Thatâs on purpose.â
Outside looking in, the quiet street and brick building may have looked like an abandoned structure. However, as someone who had made money from its operations, I knew looks could be deceiving.
I turned to go inside the club, but Elli tapped my shoulder. In her hand was a small box with a bow on top.
âWhatâs that?â
âYour birthday gift. I know you didnât ask for anything, but I wanted to make you feel as special as you made me feel.â
Other than the women in my family, I couldnât recall a time when a woman I entertained bought me a birthday gift. They always figured giving me pussy at the end of the night was a gift.
With ease, I opened the small box and discovered a set of Gucci cufflinks. âThese are fly as hell. You didnât have to do this, Elliot.â
âI wanted to.â
Once the gift giving was done, I led Elli to a discreet entry way into Nightstand and inserted a key card. Unlike the last time we were together, she allowed me to hold her hand as we walked through a dark walkway that led to the main floor.
âThis is⦠eerie,â she muttered, making me smile.
âYou said you trust I would keep you safe.
