You’re Good for Me

Rule sat in his rental car and thought over their last day in Vegas before getting out to open her door. That afternoon they went skydiving and Camryn faced her biggest fear. Afterward they had lunch and headed for the airport. They still hadn’t had sex and that was quite alright with Rule.

He enjoyed her companionship enough to be satisfied with just that.

They did, however, talk about sex – and that conversation intrigued him. He became intrigued with the fact that no man had ever made Camryn climax before. That was actually the reason why she had gotten her latest piercing. She was told that that would intensify her sexual experiences.

Rule opened his door, but Camryn’s voice stopped him.

She questioned him about his next move.

The night before as they smoked he broke down and told her what was going on with his business. One of his workers, Marcel, tried to throw him under the bus and steal his clientele. Marcel took a couple of keys out of the delivery he was supposed to make to one of Rule’s highest paying clients, Drake.

When Marcel approached Drake he told him that Rule had skimped him on the product and that he was starting his own business. Marcel offered to supply Drake with the same amount of product for half the price.

Drake told him that he would consider it, but immediately called Rule to make sure he knew what Marcel was up to. When he couldn’t get in touch with Rule he called Yancey. Yancey was set to approach Marcel at the trap house Marcel was over, but before Yancey could reach the front door he was being shot at from all sides.

He called Power to see if he could get in touch with Rule to let him know that it was not only Marcel who had crossed them, but that he had multiple men from their payroll working with him.

Until they found out who it was they couldn’t properly plan their attack. Camryn calming him down the night before helped him realize this, so Rule agreed to stand down until his mind was clear and he knew who else betrayed him.

“I’m just going to hold an emergency meeting with my camp to see if I can get some info from the ones that I know are loyal,” he informed her.

“By yourself?”

“Yancey will be there. And I got a few niggas that I know I can trust.”

Rule watched her face twist in apprehension, but she nodded and said, “Okay. Just be safe.”

He smiled and stepped out of the car. Once Rule made it to her side of the car he opened the door and helped her out.

“I will be,” he answered finally.

“Call me as soon as you leave.”

“I’ll do something better.”

“What?”

“I’ll come get you so you can spend the night with me.”

Rule pushed her body towards the car with his and leaned against her.

“I would like that.”

“Really? You not gone give me a hard time about getting attached to me and all that other bullshit you’ve been worried about?”

Her smile made him smile.
