HOLINESS PROTECTS REVIVAL

Sadly, there is no way to discuss the subject of holiness without it becoming controversial. There are two sides to every coin, as they say, and I want to attempt to speak to both sides here. An “anything goes” spirit has afflicted the modern church. Perhaps it’s just the pendulum swinging from extreme legalism in the past to extreme liberalism today, but we must come back to a place of true biblical holiness that is pleasing and acceptable to the Lord.

In raising us up as RevivalMakers, God has chosen us to be the visible image of our invisible God to the world. When your neighbors see you, they see Jesus—or at least that’s our hope. There is a responsibility over the life of every RevivalMaker to not live simply for yourself. Your life is a living sacrifice that testifies of the glory of our God to those around you. However, the way you live your life will speak to those around you of the effectiveness of the Gospel. Beyond that is our chief responsibility to our Lord and Savior. We cannot disrespect the sacrifice of Calvary and dishonor the blood of the Lamb by living lawless lives. There is a standard of righteousness the Lord expects us to hold up and live by.
