Dash~

Just when I thought that I couldn’t harbor any more hate for this girl than I already did, she had to go and slice the wound in deeper.

Pregnant.

Not only was she fucking both me and Professor Dunton, but she didn’t even have enough sense not to get knocked up while she was sleeping around with multiple men. Whatever feelings for her that might have been lingering about were gone.

All of it was gone.

I straightened as I crossed my arms over my chest. “Well, congratulations,” I mocked. “I’m sure the professor will be very happy to hear it.”

Eden started shaking her head again. “Dash, I’m not having an affair with the-”

“I saw you, Eden,” I finally informed her, so that she could stop this charade. “I saw you coming out of his house.”

“Dash, it’s not what-”

“-what I think?” I finished for her. “Don’t tell me that it’s not what I fucking think, Eden. I wrap it up whenever I’ve been fucking you, so if nothing else, we know that the little bastard isn’t mine.”

“That first weekend-”

“Oh, yeah?” I snapped, stopping her. “I learned how to count in kindergarten, Eden. It’s been two months since that first weekend, so I’m thinking there should have been a missed period in there somewhere if that baby is mine.” My eyes raked her up and down. “Unless biology has changed since the beginning of time, and that’s not how it works anymore.”

“Dash, don’t do this-”

“Do what?” I growled, not caring about the audience behind me. I stopped caring about people’s opinions a long time ago, so I didn’t give a fuck that they could hear everything that we were saying. “Break up with a cheating slut? Deny a child that I know isn’t mine?”

“The reason I went to Profess-”

“I know the reason you were going to Professor Dunton’s house!” I roared, not wanting to hear his name come out of her mouth. “I know everything!”

“No, you don’t!” she yelled back, her voice breaking a little bit. “This baby is yours, Dash! I swear it!”

“Yeah, well, you can swear it to the heavens all you want, but if you think that I’m stupid enough to believe you, then you’re more delusional than I thought.” With rage, hurt, and regret fueling my temper, I added, “Even if it is mine, the last thing that I want is to have a child with a dirty, calculating, lying, scheming whore. So, if I am responsible, do us both a favor and get rid of it.”

Eden flinched as if I hit her, but like everything else that she’s done during these past couple of months, it was probably all an act. She knew that we had an audience, so she was doing her best to come out of this as the victim. She probably didn’t want Professor Dunton getting in trouble for fucking his students, so she was doing her best to minimize the aftermath.

“You don’t mean that,” she whispered as her eyes turned on those classic crocodile tears.

“Oh, I mean it,” I assured her.
