Abstract

In the information age where social media and online platforms are popular, recommendation systems are being used more and more widely. As a result, the evaluation of recommendation systems has become more rigorous, and a better-quality recommendation system can largely improve the competitiveness of products. This chapter proposes three different ways to improve the performance of recommendation systems based on both attack and trust: usage of the Simulated Annealing Algorithm in the score propagation model, evaluation and usage of users’ activeness, and some administrative measures.
