The following is a good example of a break statement used for a task that’s less trivial. This loop fills a list with all the Fibonacci numbers up to a particular value as follows:

Note that the while True loop is in use here, which means that it will loop endlessly lest we have a break statement.

Loops that have an else block

The else statement one rarely used pattern in Python, as part of the while or for loop. As you already know, the else block executes if all the if and elif statements do evaluate to false.

Perhaps one of the most confusingly named Python statements, the loop-else is more often better looked at as a nobreak statement. That means that the else block executes only when the loop has a natural ending, without coming across break statements.
