Magnetic Lasso Tool

This tool is useful if you want to select an object in an image and not the background. We can do this with the magnetic lasso.

Open the daffodils.jpg image.

Use the magnetic lasso to select the daffodils in the photo.

Now trace around the daffodils with the lasso, you will find that it will magnetically stick to the edge of the yellow flower. If it doesn’t then click your mouse to manually add a point.
