A small but impressive collection of paintings, wood and polychrome carvings, and sacred artifacts are displayed in the restored chapel of the Church and Convent of Santo Domingo.

Exhibits detail the history of the isthmus, the railroad, the failed French canal, and the heroic efforts that resulted in the Panama Canal, known as “the path between the seas.” Located on Plaza de la Independecia, Casco Antiguo.
