LAYER 2: STENCILS AND SILKSCREENS

1 If you can, take your painting and a selection of stencils outside for some spray painting. Spray paint should always be used in a well-ventilated area (such as outside), and it’s not a bad idea to wear a ventilator mask as you spray.

2 Starting in one corner of your painting, spray through a larger stencil and move diagonally across the piece, moving the stencil.

3 Next choose a different pattern, similar in size to the first, and create a line of this pattern through the painting in a different color.
