In addition, a pause creates contours in your phrasing and is an effective way to create transitions. PREDICT THE MAGNITUDE

Stage fright is not an inborn trait that some have and others don’t. It arises based on the situation, and under the right circumstances, everyone will experience it. You can predict how much stage fright to anticipate for any presentation by considering two things: (1) your expectation of how you think you will perform, and (2) how much you have riding on the outcome, whether actual or imagined.
