“Hello, Chelsea,” said Barbie. “My name is Dr. Barbie. What seems

to be the problem with Roary?”

“I have . . . I mean,Roary has been sneezing and coughing,”

Chelsea replied.

“I understand,” said Barbie. “Let’s have you hop onto this table.”

“Okay,” Chelsea said.

“First I’m going to listen to Roary’s heart with this stethoscope,”

said Barbie. “Don’t worry—it’s not going to hurt.”

Then Barbie used a flashlight to look at Roary’s ears, nose, and mouth.

“How is Roary doing? Does he have any questions?” Barbie asked.

“Roary says he’s okay and he isn’t scared,” Chelsea told Barbie.
