3.2.2 Design of High-Pass Filter

The ideal magnitude response of the High-pass filter is obtained by shifting the plot of the magnitude response of the ideal low-pass filter (refer Fig. 3.9b, say ) toward right by . This is obtained by replacing by in of the low-pass filter as follows.
