Finishing the Quilt

1. Layer the quilt top, batting, and backing together. Quilt as desired.

2. Sew the binding strips together, end-to-end, or on the bias, to make one long binding strip. Press seams open.

3. Press the strip, wrong sides together. Sew to the front of the quilt along the raw edges. Fold the binding to the back, covering the raw edges. Hand stitch in place.
