5 – Ebony

I open my eyes with a start. Four green eyes are peering down at me and tendrils are stroking my cheeks. Four green eyes were not what I was expecting to see. I was expecting the wet feeling between my legs to have come from a dream and I thought the muscly faceless man in my dream who’d had me in a very compromising clinch was the reason for that wetness—well, part of it at least.

Usually when I dream of being intimate with hot men, I wake up and find I’d been dry humping my six foot long bolster pillow My pillow has been my sleeping buddy for the past two years and the frill edging has tickled more than my cheek in that time. It’s also tickled my fancy more times that I can count too.

“Oh... It wasn’t a dream after all...it was with you.” My face is frozen with shock. I really did do the things that I dreamt of—with an alien, too.

His face is blank and I can’t tell if he’s regretting what we did last night.

“I have something for you,”

My eyebrows lift. I’m curious and excited. Wrath reaches behind his back and opens his hand. I look down at the offering and blink a few times before raising my eyes to his.

“A pointy tree branch?”

“It’s more than that.”

Is this his species’ way of thanking me for being intimate with him?

He draws his eyebrows together and shakes his head. “No, no. This is a weapon.”

I look from the pointy stick up to him with a furrow. He looks pleased with himself and reminds me of a puppy bringing its master a branch to throw and play chase with. “What am I going to do with that?”

“I just don’t want you to be without protection if we get split up again.”

“Oh...it’s a stake.”

He nods enthusiastically. “Yes. Keep it with you at all times.”

“Th—ank you.”

He leans down and takes me by surprise when he kisses me passionately. I didn’t even get a chance to check if I have morning breath. The wetness between my legs increases. He breathes in deeply as he kisses me and pulls away with droopy eyelids and eyes filled with lust.

“I want nothing more than to stay here with you and lick you for eternity,” my cheeks set alight, “but we need to get going. The next light has appeared on our clasps. I’ll step onto the outer branches while you relieve your bodily fluids.”

I look turn my head from left to right. “What in here?”

“We won’t be coming back. And just because there weren’t any creatures out there last night, it doesn’t mean there won’t be any out there this morning.”

I gasp and clutch the stake to my breast. “God, I hope not.”

He pecks my lips again. “Nothing and no one will hurt you while I’m here.”

The insides of my stomach actually flutter at his words. I watch the muscles in his arms and chest pull taut as he pushes up onto his hands and then stands.
