Transitions

Animations and transitions are similar concepts. Where animations focus on jazzing up slide objects, transitions focus on jazzing up transitions between slides or slide layers. Adding transitions is easy and you can apply them from Story View or from Slide View.

To add a slide transition from Story View, select the slide you wish to add the transition to, select the Transitions tab, and then choose the transition you wish to apply. Storyline has 17 built-in transitions. From this tab, you can also change the Duration, the Effect Options, or you can choose to apply the selected transition to all slides.

To add a slide transition from Slide View, select the Transitions tab and choose the transition you wish to apply to that slide.
