I heard you were gonna give Beth up for adoption. I just want you to know I’m really proud of you for doing the right thing. It means a lot that you’re willing to do good things when it’s important.

I wasn’t, important to you, I mean. So I think it’s best we just say goodbye right now. I know we’ll be at school and stuff, but I think it’s better this way if we don’t talk. If we just pretend that nothing happened between us. Before we do that though, I need to clear the air about something. Please don’t feel bad about what happened. You didn’t break my heart or hurt me. It didn’t mean anything to me either. It was fun, just like you said. So I don’t want you to hang onto this, I want you to move on. I am, and it’s gonna be okay.
