Chapter 3

They wiped up the water on the floor first. They were both naked and still damp from the shower, laughing as they shuffled along the hardwood floor in the hallway with towels under their feet. It was funny and…pretty damn cool, actually.

Jake liked a woman who could laugh during foreplay. He liked a woman who wasn’t self-conscious about her body, who was comfortable walking around in the nude. Or shuffling, as the case may be.

He liked Natalie. A lot.

It was crazy when he considered they’d just met, what, a couple hours ago? Maybe three. Yet here they were, ending a mutually satisfying shower—definitely satisfying—and laughing and joking as they made their way to the bedroom, with the express purpose of getting it on again, this time in his bed.

Despite his dire professional and financial situation, Jake was pretty damn happy with life at the moment. Especially when Natalie pushed him onto the bed on his back, then climbed on top of him, straddled his hips, and declared that it was her turn.

He dropped his head to the bed and said, “I’m all yours, babe. Do with me what you will.”

She did. She kissed him, from his lips to his neck and down across his chest, once again paying special attention to his nipples. He never knew they were such an erogenous zone until Natalie swirled her tongue round and round before puckering her lips and suckling at him much in the same way he wanted to suckle her breasts.

Just when he was about to grab her hips and flip her onto her back because he felt a desperate need to be inside her again, she stopped tormenting his chest and began a downward perusal of his body that involved a lot of licking and teasing with her lips. Much to his immense satisfaction, she apparently loved oral sex, at least he assumed she did, if the attention she paid to his dick was any indication. He was more than half tempted to let her keep going, to find his release in her mouth—did she swallow? God, he wanted to know.

But more than that, he wanted to be inside her, to look at her face as he thrust into her, to watch her as she climaxed. Even an outstanding blowjob couldn’t compete with the thrill of watching his woman come, while he pressed toward his own climax.

On some vague level it occurred to him that he’d just thought of her in terms of his woman, but he let the thought pass, deciding not to dwell on it. Whatever was happening right now was too damn…good. He did not want to tarnish it by allowing reality to intrude. Reality would make her presence known plenty soon enough. No point in rushing it.

When Natalie did something particularly tantalizing with her tongue, Jake surged into a seated position, pushing her away before she really did make him come in her mouth. She lifted her face and gave him such a purely feminine, smug look that he laughed and lay back down on the bed again.
