CHAPTER 15- KIMMIE

I had no idea I would run into Shadow at the hospital. After Mack beat my ass last night, I had to go. The pain was unbearable. I had no idea who this man was. Even with his flaws, he was never like this. You would think I did something to his ass the way he was treating me. When Shadow said he would handle it, I almost told him yes. He obviously had plans to kill Mack and as much as I hated him, I don’t think that is something I wanted on my conscience. All I wanted was for him to leave me alone. Even though he told me to text him when he came home, I had no intentions on doing that. I’m not that person even though that’s what I was attracted to. Shadow offering to kill Mack just let me know, I done did the shit again. He was obviously more thug and in the streets than I thought. Businessmen just don’t go around killing people. So much was on my mind and heart when I pulled into my driveway. Mack’s car was there and I prayed he was in a better mood today. Those thoughts went out the window the moment I walked in the door.

“Where the fuck have you been?”

“The hospital, I needed to be seen and given some pain pills.” Walking in the kitchen, I got some water and took some pills.

“Bitch what the fuck did you tell them?” He got so close in my face I could smell the shit flakes he must have eaten.

“I didn’t tell them anything. You know I wouldn’t do that.”

“I don’t know what you will do, but you walking around here like I really did something to your ass. Bitch I barely touched you and now your ass a victim.”

“I’m not about to argue about this. You know what you did and the fact that you are sitting here trying to downplay it is fucking me up.”

“You tough now since you think them people got your back. What the police tell you? They gone check into it. Well I’m gone give you something to tell since you want to act like a nigga beating you and shit. Get naked.”

“I’m not doing that. My body hurts and I’m tired.” He punched me in the same eye he already had on swoll and that shit hurt worse than any pain I had ever felt in my life.

“I said get naked.” Trying my luck, I attempted to run past him so I could get out the door. Before I could pass him, he punched me in the throat and down went Frazier. Gasping for air, I prayed he stopped. Reaching down, he started ripping my clothes off me and I had no more fight in me to stop him. When he walked to the sink, I was confused as hell on what he was doing. Grabbing some water, he walked over to me and poured it all over my body.
