6.6 Defined connectives

We will use the same defined connectives as before: ‘A B’ is shorthand for , and similarly ‘A B’ is shorthand for . As in Chapter 5, the truth conditions for these defined connectives are simply the resulting truth conditions for the corresponding sentences that use only our Basic (primitive) connectives—for example, the truth conditions for and . In our given paraconsistent setting, the given conditions are represented in the following tables.
