Creating Your Cocoon

Before you begin to map out your healing cocoon and the specifics of your container, we invite you to drop into your heart and name your intention for doing this work.

Grab a piece of paper and draw a giant circle on it. At the top, write your intention for doing this work. Then, below, write your start-date and end-date (we recommend a minimum of three months).

Within the circle write down everything that is a “yes” for you. These yeses will be the ways in which you nourish and support yourself in honoring your intention.

SOME EXAMPLES OF YESES:

Sisterhood/brotherhood circle

Asking for support

Saying “no”

Honoring your nervous system’s capacity

Dancing/movement practices

Eating nourishing foods, staying hydrated

Spending time in nature

Creating a practice of solitude and stillness

Ceremony and ritual (cacao, tea, grounding, etc.)

Reading, singing!

Writing, painting, drawing

Honoring your body

Pleasure
