On the way into the house, Matt had looked around the place and decided it was the most complete farm he had ever seen. There were crops that included wheat and corn, a vineyard, and a vegetable patch that he could see. He made note of the cows, horses, and at least one mule.
âI lived on a small farm close to Mt. Airy, North Carolina,â he told them. âWe had two cows, a mule, and some chickens. Before my Pa left we were preparing the fields around us for crops. I couldnât do it by myself so we never had the beautiful fields he envisioned, like you have here. You have certainly made this into a model farm.
