Sized sheets can be hung to dry one at a time on a clothesline or stacked for a short time so the moisture evens out, but not left so long that the sheets begin to stick together. Paper should be completely dried and left for at least a few days before printing. If the paper needs additional sizing, the reverse side can be coated too. It is preferable to apply the smallest amount that will cover the surface of the paper evenly. While artists who size paper regularly find it simple to do, it takes trial and error to develop an efficient system.
