of protection, the standard IEC 60335-1 states that for reinforced insulation, we still have to refer to Table 16, but using the next higher step for rated impulse voltage as a reference. So, instead of the clearance corresponding to rated impulse voltage 2500V, we will refer to the following value corresponding to 4000V.
