Kabir is not the sea that allows all the currents to fall and makes them salty; Kabir is the Sunlit reservoir that takes juicy essence both from inside and outside and maintains the healthy quality of water: clean; pure; cool; oxygenated; mineralized; sweet and healthier. All these adjectives define the life, mind, deeds and works of Kabir.
At his time Kabir ensured the health of society and is still capable of keeping the society healthy provided that one drinks the juice and water that Kabir offers.
Literacy had little value in his time; wisdom and revelation was all that was needed; Kabir possessed both of them. Wealth had little importance in his time; work and skill was all that was needed; Kabir possessed both of them. Degrees had no importance in his time; religiosity and spirituality was all that was needed; Kabir possessed both of them. He had everything: wisdom and insight; purity and religiosity; spirituality and revelation;
We need communion, communication and companionship because we lack it; so we are poor in plenty and luxury; foolish with diplomas and degrees; loveless with dating and marriages.
We possess the body but lack the spirit; we try to heal wounds and pains with medicines and surgery and never by tender soft touch; sweet whispering voice and warm compassionate look. Kabir had that; Kabir used that; Kabir lived; Kabir helped others to live. We are not helping others to live hence we are not living. We are placing obstacles and raising hurdles for others to check their growth and prosperity and we are dwarfed; face and stop at obstacles; turn direction and change post, place or business to see hurdles; run and escape; escape and run; and fail to live.
Kabir had roots, strong main root and numerous tiny hair roots; he absorbed and reflected the strength of the plant. We have rejected the tradition; are rootless; unable to absorb minerals and sap from the past hence there is no projected future before us. We are living for the body, in and with the body hence neither the power is thrusting from behind nor the brightness is pulling ahead.
Kabir was not a revolutionary; not an extremist; he was a balanced and practical man of the world. He tried to stop others from doing excesses that was called revolution. He tried to open the eyes of others by showing the hard realities that were different to their concept; and he was declared to be a revolutionary. He found a path (may be hard, uneven, rough and pinching), showed it and asked others to move on it. The path lacked the luxury, softness and smoothness hence he was rejected as revolutionary.
We too have rejected all Kabirs that show realistic ways and try to check us from excesses because we are unrealistically committing excesses in every field and direction. We are extremists, extreme materialists. We are revolutionaries, have revolted against life and Nature, and the continuity of life and beauty of Nature.
Kabir was not one but many; and in his inner self, as it appears, he was all.
