No, I’m not. I just think that we need a real competition of ideas in the public square. Maya is right—we are more reliable when we think together, in collaboration. But if the gatekeepers of information all think alike, then they will not give us competing ideas, and then we will just be following one set of prejudices—those of the gatekeepers. So I think we need multiple, independent sources of information. We need independent media. But that’s what you find on the internet. So I still think we’re better off with the internet than without it.
