“Girl, can you believe your daddy go with Draya mama.” Tia giggled while laying across the bed.

“Yeah, I was definitely shocked. I kinda feel sorry for her though.”

“And why you feel sorry for her?”

“Because she really didn’t deserve that. She already dealing with enough. I mean her husband is having a baby with another woman,” Gina stated while bringing the four bags in from Tia’s baby shower.

“She’ll be alright. She got plenty of money.”

Tia didn’t have sympathy for rich people like Draya. It was funny as hell seeing her slap her mama. She could understand why she was pissed though. Gina did one hell of a job decorating her baby shower. Although only a few people showed up. She was still gonna stunt and post pictures all over social media. She knew that hoe Jen was gonna show Draya, but she didn’t have to since Draya saw it live in living color.

“Tia everything isn’t about money, cousin. People still have feelings. Imagine if you were in Draya’s shoes.”

“That I can’t imagine because I would never let another bitch take my man. And I would never let myself get fat like that.”

“Girl, Draya is not fat, and you know it. She’s got a bangin’ ass shape like the model Tabria Majors, and she’s pretty.”

“Damn, are you my cousin or Draya’s cousin?” Tia rolled her eyes.

“Stop it. You know I’m your cousin, and I got your back. I’m just saying she’s not a bad person and doesn’t deserve to be hurt. But on a lighter note, it was good to see you and mom getting alone.”

“Girl, you know she only came to see your daddy’s new girlfriend.”

“Yeah, well I’m glad daddy dumped Draya’s mama ‘cause that shit she pulled was a mess.”

While Gina babbled on about that day’s events, Tia scrolled through her pictures, and she looked good as hell. The blue one-shoulder maxi dress she ordered from Fashion Nova hugged her baby belly so cute. It was hard to believe in just a few months she would be someone’s mommy. She couldn’t wait to meet Kenneth Jr. She almost wanted to name him Cash because that’s exactly what he was about to bring her. It was time she and Keno had a talk because she wasn’t gonna be taking care of that baby alone, and she needed to ask him what he was doing back with Draya anyway. She shot him a text, but when he didn’t respond it pissed her off even more. It was beginning to look like she was gonna have to do a pop up on his ass.

Tia knew she had to get a place before the baby was born. She couldn’t raise her child in a hotel. Going back to her Aunt Carol’s house wasn’t an option, and she refused to be on Section 8 when her baby daddy made hundreds of thousands of dollars. She made sure to remember to bring that up to Keno as well as needing a form of transportation.
