“We need to leave.” Vanessa’s said as she tore the head from one more vampire and tossed it aside. Hunter held one in a chokehold as more approached them from either side.
“And where is the fucking door?” he asked as Dorin kicked a vampire in the stomach and it reeled back, hissing and spitting. He raised his fists as suddenly a cold wind came barreling down the hallway, one that even a vampire could feel through dead flesh. Vanessa stopped as did Hunter and Dorin turned as he heard clapping and saw Lucifer walking towards them. He looked calm and relaxed, unlike his normal demeanor.
“Well now, why the fuck am I always the last to know when company is coming?”
“You never invite anyone, you always abduct and torture.”
“Oh come now Vanessa, why are you always so bitchy? You know you enjoy my torture.”
She paused and glanced at Hunter as he stepped in front of her and Lucifer stopped walking. All of the vampires who were attacking them started to back away slowly.
“Go on now, go suck on shit.” Lucifer said as he snapped his fingers and they all returned to the shadows of which they came. Lucifer took a slow breath and then looked Vanessa over; she rolled her eyes and placed a hand on her hip.
“I see she is still an insufferable cunt.”
Hunter laughed and then cleared his throat as he glanced at her. Vanessa was not amused.
“Amelia took a vampire, it is not allowed.”
“Oh no?”
“No.” Vanessa said as she stepped towards him and Hunter raised his hand to block her.
“Now Lucifer, we had a deal. We send you meat and you leave our kind alone.” Hunter said to him. Lucifer tapped his chin and then nodded yes.
“You are right, we did have a deal, but you know, as well as I do, that women on your side tend to be, how shall we say it…fucking crazy bitches.”
Hunter and Dorin laughed under their breath, but Vanessa did not.
“And you are a cocksucker.” Vanessa said as she stepped out in front of Hunter and stared Lucifer down.
“May I remind you that you are in my house, I would think that you, of all people would appreciate manners in that regard.”
“I appreciate a deal not broken.”
“Come now Vanessa, do you want me to believe that you came here for Dorin? If memory serves me correctly, he killed your Father, that of Dracula himself.”
She paused and then glanced at Dorin and back to Lucifer.
“My Father was an asshole, not unlike you.”
“Oh!” he said as he laughed and looked at Hunter.
“I really missed her witty comebacks, you know it?”
“Trust me, I deal with it every day.”
“Hunter.”
Hunter swallowed and then looked back to Lucifer, his expression changing.
“But Vanessa is right, we had a deal and you do not take our own, we handle that and you get them as we see fit.”
“This is truth, but Dorin is a Hellhound, so he is not really considered one of you, is he?”
“Yes, he has vampire blood, just as we do Lucifer.
