My bored ass had been watching so much of TikTok within the last couple of weeks, I decided to risk my life and do one of the challenges. I wasn’t recording myself or nothing, but I wanted to see how this would play out with Leem. I’d watched so many of these videos until I built up the courage to do it myself. He had yet to text back, and that had my crippled ass nervous. Either he didn’t see my message, or he wasn’t entertaining my shenanigans today. It could also be that he was plotting on how to approach the situation. I watched one video where a nigga was outside playing out the scenario on how he was going to bust in on his girl. Leem was crazy enough to be on that type of time. I would choose to play with him like this when I knew I couldn’t get around like I needed to.

“Bitch! What the hell you saying all that for?!” I couldn’t take Zelle serious right now. I know she was practicing what she was going to say at my funeral. What I just did, I know Leem was liable to strangle me to death.

“What? I’m just getting my eulogy prepared for your service, baby. You tried it, and you know that nigga retarded about you!” Zelle was laughing, but her tone was serious. She wasn’t lying though.

“Girl!” I was on the couch, slouched over laughing. This was where Leem left me while he went and got me some food from Heart Of Roses.

I was craving Myleeyah’s three cheese Mac and smothered lamb chops. Leem was tired; I knew he was. Lately, he’d been coming home more tired than ever. I knew him and Leek were always at their construction site. They were putting in long hours getting their project completed. Me and Zelle missed our men. I knew she did because she’d call me talking about she was bored. I called her out on it and said she was using me because she missed Leek. We shared a much-needed laugh when she admitted it and said that was besides the point.

“I swear I can’t stand you, bro.” I shook my head, sitting up.

“Chile, you love me. I’m serious though. I hope you survive the night because we got two of the craziest niggas in the—oop! Let me shut up because Leek just walked in here with my Heart Of Roses.
