3.3 The Disable Gutenberg plugin

The Gutenberg text editor is installed by default in the latest version of WordPress. It can be turned off to return to an old presentation of tools and icons to manipulate text and paragraphs.

Disable Gutenberg is a plugin that is not enabled by default and must be checked to change the presentation.

Display the dashboard.

Plugins / Installed plugins

Check Disable Gutenberg then click on Activate.

Edit a post.

You will notice that the presentation of the icons is different (figure 3.12).
