The good news for genealogists is that many not-for-profit organizations are teaming up to digitize things faster. Indiana’s Allen County Public Library is the second-largest genealogy library in the world, after the Family History Library in Salt Lake City; it has partnered with the Internet Archive to digitize public-domain materials. Groups and even individuals can submit files containing digitized texts to the collection.
