The next morning brought another surprise. There was a small wooden bowl with white salt in it. Leah said she decided not to use the Dead Sea salt because it contained too many minerals that would make refining it a complex process. Instead, she picked up twenty kilograms of salt from the flats of Bonneville in Utah and quickly ran it through the nanoprinter to purify it.

Later on, she was planning on taking the majority of it and the palm fronds down to the village and offer the lot as a gift to them and as an enticement and encouragement for teeth cleaning. She thought that announcing the cleaning competition should wait until after the Restday meal.

Tom also had a busy night. In the cleared and well-marked Industrial Park, a big kiln and an even bigger pile of firewood were waiting under a spacious and airy roofed workshop. The pottery wheels and clay were planned to be delivered in the next couple of days and pottery lessons would soon follow.

The pace of progress was dizzying!
