Okay, so, her mates are actually all really cool. Intimidating, but I can get down with having a bunch of brothers. And watching the way they all interact with each other, then with her, almost makes me want what they have. They really were like one big, happy family, and I was shocked as hell that none of them seemed jealous when she gave one of them attention.

We’re all dressed for the pool, some of the guys choosing to just hang in the hot tub or down below instead of jumping off this waterfall thing. Gabriella has her back turned to the water, and I’m trying so hard not to laugh as some of the guys down below start miming to the guys up here to push her in.

Would it be rude to ask them to wear name tags?

Well, I knew Foster. I could remember his name since I met him before all of the others joined up. He definitely saw what the vampire dude was telling him to do and I could see him thinking about it. I wonder if they’d have enough balls to actually push their wife off a cliff. I can’t imagine a normal married couple being okay with-

Well, damn.

Gabriella’s screeching is all the warning I get before I see the flash of Foster’s reddish hair and his massive body as they both fall together and make an epic splash in the water below.

“You fucker!”

All of the guys are snickering, while the rest of us up top jump off and join them below.

“Oh my gods, that was epic.” I go to hi-five Foster, but Gabriella splutters and glares at him so he freezes with his hand in the air like a psycho.

“Oh, baby, that scream was so good,” the vampire snickers.

“Grey, I swear to the goddess…you wanna play? Fine, I can play.”

She gets an evil type smile on her face and swims off, doing a slow climb out of the pool that has me looking away, but all of her men groaning. She winks at them all before climbing into the hot tub where the small, creepy little almost-twins and Balfour are, waving her hands weirdly before settling in and stealing a lap.

It doesn’t take too long for them to realize she put up a rune to block them all from joining her, which amuses the guys that she trapped in there to no extent. They start pouting and come back to the pool, and we pick up a game of water volleyball.

“You guys are happy, huh?”

I’m standing next to, Royce? I think his name was?

“Hard not to be. Your sister…look, I don’t want to be weird, but she’s perfect.”

I smile at the look of affection on his face, glad that my sis has so many people supporting her.

“And you don’t care that you’re not her only guy? There’s no issues between you all?”

He thinks about it as he spikes the ball over the net, diving under the water before resurfacing.

“No, there’s not. I was with someone before Gabriella, and the one on one thing just doesn’t appeal to me anymore.
