TOMATO CHUTNEY

Preparation time: 1 hour 5 minutes

You need: 4 twist-off jars at 8.4 fl oz, sterilized

Ingredients for 4 jars

17.6 oz onions, in half

35 oz tomatoes, washed, without stems

2.5 oz white wine vinegar

17.6 oz sugar

1 ½ tsp salt

2 tsp sambal ulek

1 tsp ground ginger

1 pinch of nutmeg

3 garlic cloves, in slices

2 bay leaves

1. Chop onions for 3 seconds/ speed 5 in the mixing bowl. Push down to the bottom with spatula.

2. Add tomatoes and chop for 4 seconds/ speed 5.

3. Add vinegar, sugar, salt, sambal ulek, ground ginger and nutmeg and mix for 4 seconds/ speed 5.

4. Add garlic and bay leaves. Place simmering basket on lid to prevent splashes and cook mix for 60 minutes/ 212°F/ reverse operation mode/ speed 1.
