Chapter twenty-three

Callie

Ithought this would be different. I thought I would feel awkward. I honestly didn’t think I was ready to take this step, but I knew he was, so I did it for him. I said all the right things and made him think I was confident. I was still afraid this would change everything, and I guess, in a way, it has.

Sex with Nick was more than I ever could have imagined. Yeah, I didn’t climax during sex, but I never have. I always had to finish myself off after Jake finished. Jake never cared to take care of me the way Nick does. That sex wasn’t earth-shattering by any means, but it was still amazing. I'd never felt how much someone cared about me like that during sex, and I was with Jake forever. Besides Nick, Jake was the only man I had been with.

My thoughts were cut off by the amazing tingling Nick was giving me between my legs.

“Nick, yes. Right…right there,” I moaned. “Nick, you don’t have to…I can finish myself.”

His entire body froze. He removed his mouth from my breast where he had been enjoying lapping at my nipples and looked into my eyes.

“What did you just say?” His voice sounded a little stern. I leaned up on my elbows to look at him.

“I can finish myself off. I'm used to doing that after sex. It's no big deal. Plus, I really have to pee.” I laughed and rolled over to hop up and run to the bathroom. When I came back out, he was staring wide-eyed at me.

I stopped and looked around at myself, thinking something was wrong. I started feeling all over my body.

“What? What's wrong? Is there something on me?”

“Say it again.” Nick retorted.

“Say what?” I walked over, straddled him, and kissed his neck just under his jaw. I didn’t know what it was, but the urge to touch him was so intense.

“You are used to finishing yourself off after sex?” It wasn’t a statement. It was definitely a question.

“I'm just used to it. I never actually get off during sex. I didn’t want you to be upset by it. I can do it. Actually, I can do it right here if you want me to.” I reached my hand between us, finding the pulsing bundle of nerves. It felt so good to touch myself. Nick's eyes were locked on mine, and then he swatted my hand away and flipped me over to get on top of me.

“Oof, ouch, Nick. What was that for?”

“Baby, I know I am kinda new at this sex thing, but there will never be a moment that you’ll need to get yourself off. If you want to, then go for it. I will gladly watch that shit all day long and then clean you up with my mouth, but you will always be satisfied with me.

“What—” He moved his body, and I could feel his heavy erection on my leg, hard and ready once again. “How are you ready to go again already?”

He kissed my temple and down my body to my breasts.
